Get Involved
How Can I Join?
Please register your interest here. You will need to provide a valid email address. You will be asked to answer a few questions to confirm that you are able to take part in the study.
The PROTECT-C study team will review your registration form. We will invite you via email to enrol in the study. This means you can now access the PROTECT-C app, which you can download using a smartphone or tablet, or access it on any internet browser using a computer or laptop.
We are looking for 5000 people of different ages and ethnic backgrounds to take part in the study. This is to make sure that the study is representative of the UK population. This means that we may not be able to invite everyone who registers. We thank you for your interest in the study. You can still keep up to date with the study progress and results by subscribing to our newsletter here.
Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE)
The experiences, values, and opinions of people are essential in developing and delivering research projects. Public and patient opinions have been vital in developing the PROTECT-C study and the app being used in the study.
If you would like to be part of a PPIE group for the development and delivery of research projects like PROTECT-C, please contact the research team.
Our research team is extremely grateful for any people who are involved with our research studies in any way.
